Are you using MS Word 2003 or Outlook 2003 and the Time Matters links - TM Save, TM Connect, etc.? If so, you need to upgrade to a newer version (MS Office 2007 SP2, 2010 or 2013) before installing Time Matters 12 Service Pack 2.
Time Matters 12 SP2, due in July 2012, won't install if Word 2003 is on your computer. Plan to upgrade to Office 2010 or Office 2013 sometime after midyear. This post discusses some "gotcha's."

LexisNexis will not support Windows 8 until the release of Time Matters 12 Service Pack 2 due in July 2013 nor Windows Server 2012 due with the release of Time Matters 13 expected in Q4 of 2013.
