If you use a VoIP phone service, you may be able to copy and paste a phone number from Time Matters into your calling application.

For example, our phone service, VoIPstudio, has a nice softphone application for the PC. We can paste a phone number into the Dialer window:

There are multiple ways to copy the phone number from Time Matters:

Click on a Phone Number in the Contact List PowerView.
Open a Contact and click on the Dialer button next to the phone number.
Create a Formattable Clipboard that copies the phone number from your Contact list without opening the Contact.

In the PowerView for the Contact List, just click on a Phone Number:

After clicking the Dialer windows appears:

Double-click on the number to select it. Press Ctrl-C to copy it.

You may also open the Dialer window from a Contact. Just click on the button next to the Phone Number:

If the Dialer windows does not open, customize the field with the correct options. Because Time Matters fields can be configured in Form Styles, be sure to check with your Time Matters expert before making any changes.

Options for a Time Matters Phone Number field

Select Phone for the field type. Check the boxes: Show Phone Number on Dialer and Show Dialer Button. Select Open Dialer Screen.

It would be nice if Time Matters could dial your phone directly. The next best thing is a quick way to copy and paste a number. You avoid dialing wrong numbers that way.
