AP Key Coder
AP Key Coder speeds up the process of installing Time Matters 8.0 on multiple workstations by pasting the Key Code into the installation screen. You enter the Key Code once. AP Key Coder spares you from having to type in the Key Code in each PC. It is available under a Shareware license. You set the price based on its value to you.
Is AP Key Coder for You?
If you need to install Version 8.0 of Time Matters and/or Billing Matters, either the Professional or Enterprise Edition, on multiple PCs, then AP Key Coder is for you. It does just one thing. It spares you from having to type in the 20-digit Key Code on every PC. AP Key Coder is for both consultants and customers who need to install Version 8.0.
Instructions
To use AP Key Coder:
- Send us an Email at: thanks@activepractice.com and, if it is valuable to you, send us a contribution via PayPal (www.paypal.com) using that Email address. If you prefer to contribute by credit card please call us at 800.575.0007.
- Download AP Key Coder here. Copy apkeycoder.exe onto a server or shared drive. T:\tmw8 or T:\tmw8e is a good choice.
- Run the Time Matters installation program, either from the CD or by creating a Setup folder (T:\tmw8\setup), copying the CD contents to that folder, and double-clicking on setupp.exe (Pro) or setupe.exe (Enterprise).
- When you reach the Product Code screen, stop. Switch to Windows Explorer and go to the folder (T:\tmw8) where you saved apkeycoder.exe.
- Double-click on apkeycoder.exe. You are prompted for the Key Code the first time you run AP Key Coder from. The Key Code is saved in apkeycoder.ini in the same folder as apkeycoder.exe.
- Press OK to switch to the Product Code screen and automatically paste the Key Code. Continue with the installation.
- At the next workstation, run the Time Matters installation, stopping at the Product Key screen. From Windows Explorer or from Run... on the Windows Start Menu, run apkeycoder.exe again. It will paste the Key Code for you.
Multiple Use and Licensing
Shareware License terms apply to AP Key Coder.
AP Key Coder is Shareware. You can copy it onto any number of networks.
A Key Code is saved only onto the server or shared drive where you use AP Key Coder and is only stored in apkeycoder.ini in the same folder where you placed apkeycoder.exe.
