Time Matters ships with a number of Quick Tabs already set up on the Events list and the ToDo list. You may also have overflowing bars of Quick Tabs for your Contact and Matter lists. This tip explains how to hide Quick Tabs you do not need and still have access to them if you want to.

To hide Program Level Quick Tabs:

  1. Go to: File | Setup | General | Program Level Setup

  2. Click on: Lists

  3. Select the list you want using the drop-down button, e.g. ToDo.

  4. Click: Set List Options

  5. Click on Quick Tabs/Quick Menu.

  6. Double-click on the Quick Tab you want to hide.

  7. Uncheck the box: Show on Main List.

  8. Click OK.

Repeat these last three steps for each Quick Tab you want to hide.

Notice in the example, below, that all but two Quick Tabs are hidden from the row of Quick Tabs at the top of the ToDo list. They are still available on the Navigation Bar. You can show or hide the Navigation Bar by clicking on the title word of the list, e.g., ToDo's. To use a Quick Tab shown on the Navigation Bar, double-click it.
